Radiator are a 3 dimensional product : they all have a Height x Width x Thickness (Depth)

Its the Depth that is a major factor on how much heat (Kw) the radiator will heat

There are 4 main types of Steel radiators available

                      Single   (63mm Thick)                                        Compact (85mm Thick)

      


                         Double  (102mmThick)                                      Triple (158mm Thick)

   

How to Decide the Right Radiator ???

To choose the right radiator for your room - this is the basic steps

1. Work out how many Kw of heat your room needs by our Radiator Sizing Chart

2. Once you know the Kw of the radiator required - work out what best Width & Height radiator is best suited for your room

(please note: we advise for radiators to be positioned under windows where possible to offer the best heating solution for your room)

If you have a room requiring a 2.8Kw Radiator - these would be your choices:

In a Single Size Radiator

- 500mm High x 2600mm Long (2.912Kw)

- 600mm High x 2200mm Long (2.961Kw)

In a Compact Size Radiator

- 300mm High x 2600mm Long (2.893Kw)

- 500mm High x 1600mm Long (2.840Kw)

- 600mm High x 1400mm Long (2.921Kw)

- 900mm High x 1000mm Long (2.809Kw)

In a Double Size Radiator

- 500mm High x 1300mm Long (2.821Kw)

- 600mm High x 1100mm Long (2.806Kw)

- 900mm High x 800mm Long (2.747Kw)

In a Triple Size Radiator

- 500mm High x 900mm Long (2.758Kw)
